Congratulations to Dr. Nadia Roumeliotis as she graduates from her Doctorate of Clinical Epidemiology at University of Toronto. Her journey involved moving with her family from Montreal to Toronto; the design and conduct of a systematic review of electronic decision-support, medication errors and drug safety; description of the bounds of what constitutes a medical error; description of medical errors in a commonly prescribed drug in critically ill children and evaluation of the clinical effects of these errors. Four publications and thousands of focussed hours later we were delighted when Nadia successfully defended her thesis work. A bright future beckons.
